Job Description

We are seeking an Architectural Designer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The perfect candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural principles and a passion for design that inspires and engages. You will be actively involved in the design process from concept through to completion, working closely with clients and stakeholders to create exceptional spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process on assigned projects.
• Create engaging presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior design team members and assist in their development.
• Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout design and construction.
• Utilize the latest technology and software in design processes.
• Foster relationships with clients for future project opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Design or Architecture is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in architectural design projects

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• 3D Rendering

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Architectural Technologist
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building regulations.: Knowledge of municipal regulations and codes in Cape Town.
• Experience in project management.: Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
