We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to enhance our operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving quality and working on innovative engineering solutions across various projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and exceed production goals, ensuring robust methodologies are integrated into our workplace.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, manufacturing methods and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement systems that improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Conduct time studies and process analysis to eliminate waste and reduce operational costs.
• Implement best practices in safety and quality compliance throughout production.
• Develop and maintain documentation for process control and quality management systems.
• Support and lead training initiatives for staff on new technologies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Technical Skills

• Six Sigma Certification
• Process Engineering Tools

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Communication

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in SAP: Experience with SAP modules relevant to manufacturing and operations.
• Experience with project management methodologies: Knowledge of Agile or similar project management strategies.
