E-commerce Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an E-commerce Specialist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. This role involves optimizing our online presence, managing digital marketing campaigns, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and strategies to boost online sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the e-commerce strategy in collaboration with the management team.
• Coordinate online sales campaigns and promotions.
• Optimize checkout processes to reduce cart abandonment.
• Utilize analytics tools to monitor website traffic and user behaviour.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues affecting the online store.
• Train and mentor junior staff on e-commerce best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or any relevant field
• Relevant qualifications in digital marketing is a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the e-commerce sector

• Content Management Systems (CMS)
