We're seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll support users with technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Manage user accounts and permissions within the IT system.
Assist in the planning and deployment of IT projects.
Help users with email setup and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with third-party service providers for support needs.
Implement software updates and patches in a timely manner.
Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations.
Contribute to a positive team environment and culture.
Report on service uptime and incident resolution metrics.
Support the transition of IT services to cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Information Technology or related field
Relevant industry certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+ are preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role
