Job Description

We're seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll support users with technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts and permissions within the IT system.
  • Assist in the planning and deployment of IT projects.
  • Help users with email setup and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers for support needs.
  • Implement software updates and patches in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and culture.
  • Report on service uptime and incident resolution metrics.
  • Support the transition of IT services to cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant industry certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+ are preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role
