Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves analysing financial risks using mathematical and statistical methods to help our clients make informed decisions. You will work closely with both clients and internal teams to provide insights and drive value.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough risk assessments through data analytics and market research.
• Collaborate on the development of new financial models to enhance predictive capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to actuarial practice.
• Aid in the training and development of junior team members in actuarial methodologies.
• Continuously update and refine methodologies to improve adequacy and accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an insurance environment

• Statistical Software Proficiency

Certifications

• Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA)
• Certified Actuarial Analyst (CAA)
