As a Cloud Engineer based in Durban, you'll be at the forefront of cloud technology. Your main responsibilities will include setting up and managing AWS services, collaborating with developers to deploy applications, and ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and secure. Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions for scalability and resilience.
• Assist in cloud migration projects for on-premises applications.
• Conduct regular audits of cloud resources and reports.
• Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide cloud support during application development lifecycle.
• Assist in cost management and budget optimization for cloud services.
• Document cloud architecture and processes for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Cloud Computing is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud development or engineering

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with serverless architecture: Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and other serverless solutions.
