UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles. You will work closely with product managers and developers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent branding.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and collect feedback.
• Utilize design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for your projects.
• Ensure that designs are accessible and inclusive.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe XD
• Prototyping

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified UX Specialist
• Agile UX Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of design systems: Experience in developing and maintaining design systems to streamline processes.
