Job Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced Auditor to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for examining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance the efficiency of our clients' financial operations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored auditing solutions that drive their success.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial transactions and operational processes.
• Identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior management.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant local legislation.
• Mentor junior auditors and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Any additional certification (ACCA or CIMA) is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant auditing experience

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment
• Accounting Software (e.g., Sage, SAP)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Auditor (RA)
• CIMA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in a second language (preferably Afrikaans): Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans is advantageous.
• Experience in financial consulting: Background in providing financial consulting services.
