Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will contribute to various infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and national standards while providing innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop specifications for construction materials and methods.
  • Oversee field testing of materials and structural components.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for building permits and inspections.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and project team to address any issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles

Certifications
