Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sewing Machine Operators to set waistbands on garments according to specifications in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong eye for detail and be able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines for garment construction.
• Ensure correct settings for various fabric types.
• Inspect garments for quality assurance.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
• Report any defects or issues to the Production Manager.
• Keep up-to-date with machine maintenance schedules.
• Participate in training sessions on new techniques.
• Assist in the packing and labeling of finished products.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate or diploma in sewing or a related field

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in garment production, specifically in waistband setting.

Languages
