Job Description

As a Social Worker in Durban, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals facing various challenges. You will provide counseling, resource referrals, and case management services, ensuring that clients receive the assistance needed for their well-being. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for diverse client populations.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and support frameworks.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Manage crisis situations effectively to ensure client safety.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community awareness.
• Document all client interactions in compliance with confidentiality standards.
• Report and address any safeguarding concerns promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is highly desirable

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working in a social services capacity
