Financial Analyst

Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be integral to our finance team in Johannesburg, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning. You will provide insights based on data analysis to facilitate informed strategic decisions and enhance financial accountability throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain financial models to predict outcomes.
• Engage in monthly reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Act as a point of contact for external auditors and compliance inquiries.
• Participate in special projects and forecasts as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
• Relevant master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of financial analysis experience

• Financial Reporting
• Excel and Financial Software

Certifications

• CMA Certification (Certified Management Accountant)
• CFA Certification (Chartered Financial Analyst)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of IFRS standards: Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards will be beneficial.
