We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing structural projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction process to ensure design specifications are met.
• Utilize software for structural analysis and design.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Identify potential structural issues and develop solutions proactively.
• Conduct field tests and evaluate structural performance.
• Engage in budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
• Prepare and present technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain project databases and documentation.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality assurance within the team.
• Conduct training and workshops for enhancing team skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil or structural engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Ansys
• STAAD Pro

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Chartered Structural Engineer (CStrucE)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
