We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing dental hygiene services, educating patients about oral health, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role is crucial in helping our patients maintain optimal oral health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings.
• Implement preventive care and periodontal treatment plans.
• Foster patient relationships and ensure comfort during treatments.
• Engage in practice management activities.
• Instruct patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
• Assist in the scheduling of appointments.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and instruments.
• Participate in continuing education and training.
• Support dentists with emergency procedures as needed.
• Cultivate a welcoming and encouraging environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene with honors
• Bachelor's in Dental Sciences is a bonus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting

• Oral Health Assessment

Certifications

• Additional certifications in Teeth Whitening
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
