Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable General IT Technician to join our diverse team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT support and a solid understanding of various technological systems. You will be responsible for managing hardware and software installations, troubleshooting IT issues, and providing technical support to employees. With your expertise, you'll help maintain an efficient IT environment that enhances productivity across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing IT support inquiries.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
  • Schedule and perform regular maintenance on IT systems.
  • Investigate and resolve user-reported issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with IT project teams to implement new systems.
  • Train users on new technologies and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in IT or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT roles
