Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to enhance our cybersecurity efforts. You'll analyse security incidents, respond to threats, and work closely with teams to strengthen our clients' digital defenses.

Responsibilities

• Utilise SIEM tools to aggregate and analyse security data.
• Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems for incident resolution.
• Draft incident response plans and playbooks.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend tools to enhance detection capabilities.
• Engage in proactive threat hunting to mitigate potential risks.
• Assist in developing and improving security awareness training.
• Actively participate in security investigations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CEH) are highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a security analysis or engineering role
