Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Teaching Assistant in Cape Town who is enthusiastic about education and eager to support both teachers and students. This role involves aiding in classroom management, assisting with lesson preparation, and providing individual support to learners. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in helping students excel and contribute positively to the learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies.
• Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among students.
• Assist in assessing student work and providing feedback.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure smooth classroom operations.
• Engage in regular communication with parents about academic performance.
• Organize materials and equipment for classroom use.

Requirements

Education

• Higher education qualification in Education or Youth Studies is advantageous
• Specialized training for student assistance is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a similar role

• English: Fluent
