Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Architect to lead our mobile development team in Pretoria. You will spearhead the design and implementation of innovative Android applications that enhance user experience and engagement. You should possess extensive knowledge of Android frameworks and architectural best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable and maintainable Android solutions.
• Work closely with design teams to create intuitive user experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and stability issues.
• Guide the team in adopting Agile methodologies.
• Document architectural decisions and design patterns.
• Establish best practices for Android development.
• Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback on mobile strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in Mobile Computing is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Android architecture and development

Certifications

• Google Professional Android Developer
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
