Job Description

As a Forest and Conservation Worker, you will play a critical role in gathering and collating data from various online sources for environmental conservation. This role requires excellent attention to detail, independent work capability, and a passion for nature.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize web scraping tools to extract data from environmental databases.
  • Assist in the analysis of data trends to evaluate the effectiveness of conservation efforts.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to conservation policy discussions.
  • Help maintain and update databases reflecting ongoing projects.
  • Support the training of volunteers and interns in data collection methods.

Requirements

Education
  • A degree in Data Science, Environmental Studies, or related field
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in related fields with an emphasis on data collection and analysis
