Job Description

As an Architect at Leading Design Firm, you will be responsible for designing architectural solutions that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Your expertise will contribute to innovative and sustainable projects that enhance the urban fabric of Pretoria. You will work collaboratively with our team of engineers, planners, and clients to bring ideas to fruition, ensuring quality and functionality in every design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings with clients to discuss project objectives.
• Research and consider environmental impact in design decisions.
• Train and mentor junior architects in design principles and practices.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure design implementation aligns with vision.
• Stay updated on architectural trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of architectural design experience

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Time Management

Certifications

• Green Building Council Accredited
• Construction Project Management Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Ability to create visually appealing presentations and design visuals.
• Experience with Project Management Software: Familiarity with project management tools to ensure efficient workflow.
