Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. This role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems for our clients. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be comfortable supporting various technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure computer systems and applications.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Assist with network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Update and maintain inventory of IT assets.
• Train staff on new technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues according to service level agreements.
• Assist in implementing IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or technical helpdesk role

Technical Skills

• Active Directory
• Remote Desktop Support

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with VoIP Systems: Knowledge of configuring and supporting VoIP phone systems.
