Job Description

We are seeking a Collections Analyst who will analyze client accounts and implement effective collection strategies. This role requires exceptional communication skills and a strong problem-solving mindset to handle sensitive customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of accounts to create tailored collection strategies.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients while firmly negotiating payment resolutions.
  • Analyse collection data and derive actionable insights for improving performance.
  • Assist in the training of new team members on debt recovery techniques.
  • Prepare detailed reports highlighting collection performance and share with management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Use available tools to automate and streamline the collection process.
  • Audit and ensure compliance with industry regulations during collections.
  • Foster teamwork and camaraderie within the department to boost morale and efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Relevant certification in Debt Collection is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in debt collection or related field
