We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Consultant based in Durban to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of South African taxation laws and regulations, providing expert advice to our varied clients on tax compliance, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on various tax-related issues and changes in legislation.
• Review and ensure accuracy of tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Provide timely assistance in tax audits and inquiries.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with clients to provide bespoke tax advice.
• Prepare reports and presentations on tax positions and strategies.
• Monitor and analyze tax developments impacting clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in tax advisory and consulting roles

Technical Skills

• Tax Legislation Knowledge

• CIMA Certificate in Business Finance
