UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate UX/UI Designer to join our creative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design expertise and ability to create user-centric solutions. You will work closely with product managers and developers to design intuitive and engaging user experiences that enhance our products' usability and appeal.

Responsibilities

• Translate design concepts into interactive experiences.
• Attend and contribute to design meetings and workshops.
• Gather and analyze data to inform design decisions.
• Create responsive designs that work across multiple devices.
• Provide design support for marketing materials as needed.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or a directly related field
• Master's degree in UX Design or Human-Computer Interaction is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a proven history of successful projects

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools
• User Research Methods

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams to deliver design solutions.
• Background in graphic design or illustration: Additional skills in graphic design or illustration can be beneficial.
