UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital products by conducting user research, creating wireframes, and designing user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also functional and intuitive.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements through interviews and surveys.
• Design user interface elements such as buttons, forms, and navigation menus.
• Create prototypes that illustrate how the site functions and looks.
• Conduct A/B testing to measure the impact of design changes.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders for approval.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Figma
• Sketch

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• UX Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS: Understanding of HTML/CSS for better design implementation.
• Experience in user testing tools: Knowledge of tools like UserTesting or Lookback for gathering user feedback.
