Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education. You will assist in preparing learning materials, conducting group activities, and providing individual support to students as required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group discussions and peer interactions.
• Assist with testing and assessment administration.
• Prepare classrooms for lessons and clean up afterwards.
• Organize field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Foster relationships that promote student well-being.
• Guide students in using learning resources and technologies.
• Document and report on student progress.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a teaching or educational setting
