Job Description

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to managing security solutions and will be skilled at identifying and mitigating potential threats to our digital infrastructure. You will play a vital role in developing and implementing security policies and practices to safeguard our organization's data.

Responsibilities

• Develop security standards and best practices for the organization.
• Regularly review and update security documentation and guidelines.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Provide recommendations to improve system security and performance.
• Coordinate security awareness training for employees.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors on security measures.
• Evaluate new security solutions and recommend implementation as needed.
• Implement and manage access control systems.
• Assist in defining security architecture for IT projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

• Penetration Testing
• Threat Analysis

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SIEM Tools: Experience with Security Information and Event Management tools.
• Scripting Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages for automation of security tasks.
