Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you'll be responsible for protecting our organization’s data and systems from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with security standards, and implementing security measures.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Engage in incident response planning and execution.
• Coordinate with external security vendors and consultants.
• Perform threat analysis and detect system weaknesses.
• Support compliance efforts with security standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity

Technical Skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Vulnerability Management

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in threat intelligence: Ability to analyze intelligence data and make recommendations.
• Experience with firewall configuration: Skilled in setting up and maintaining firewalls.
