Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will work closely with both development and operations teams to automate and enhance our deployment processes, ensuring the smooth running of our applications.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage cloud services, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Work within agile teams to improve deployment lifecycles.
  • Analyze system performance metrics for capacity planning.
  • Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for resource management.
  • Drive initiatives for reducing operational costs through automation.
  • Facilitate training sessions on DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Certifications in cloud technologies preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
