Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to enhance our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment, ensuring seamless operations for events and presentations. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audiovisual experiences to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and operational aspects of AV systems.
• Provide technical advice on AV solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with other technicians to enhance AV services.
• Ensure sound quality and video clarity for all events.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and AV equipment.
• Help prepare budgets for AV equipment procurement.
• Conduct post-event evaluation and feedback collection.
• Liaise with vendors for equipment procurement and repairs.
• Maintain an organized workspace and equipment inventory.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Audio Visual Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in AV technologies, events management experience is a plus
