Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. You will support a variety of systems and applications while ensuring smooth network operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and update computer systems and applications.
• Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the setup of new workstations and equipment.
• Respond to support requests in a timely manner to keep operations running smoothly.
• Document technical processes and issues as necessary.
• Engage in regular training to stay up to date with technology trends.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+) is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years experience in technical support roles

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Helpdesk Software

• Time Management
• Analytical Skills

Advantageous

• Experience with ITIL framework: Familiarity with ITIL best practices for IT service management.
• Knowledge of cloud services: Ascertainable experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
