Job Description

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will oversee the planning, development, and management of volunteer programs at Community Connect in Bloemfontein. Your role will involve recruiting volunteers, coordinating events, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. You will work closely with various stakeholders to strengthen community ties and enhance outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Create training materials for volunteers and facilitate workshops.
  • Oversee volunteer schedules and event participation.
  • Collect feedback from volunteers and participants to improve programs.
  • Assist in grant reporting and fundraising efforts related to volunteer programs.
  • Promote community service and volunteerism through social media and local outreach.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in volunteer management are advantageous.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in volunteer coordination or community outreach.
