Job Description

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to support our technology needs in Johannesburg. Your role will be instrumental in diagnosing and resolving IT issues, as well as providing exceptional service to our users. Responsibilities

  • Respond to service desk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring effective resolution of reported issues.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on software usage and IT best practices.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain inventories of hardware and software assets.
  • Facilitate remote support for users with VPN and remote access tools.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with network configuration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is preferred
  • Certifications in ITIL or similar frameworks are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support roles
