Looking for a qualified Actuary to enhance our team in Durban. You will work with senior management to devise risk-adjusted pricing strategies and assess the capital needed to support our operations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our competitive edge in the insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze data to develop appropriate actuarial assumptions.
• Create financial models for projecting long-term liabilities and reserves.
• Identify trends and provide risk assessments based on data analysis.
• Assist in annual regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with local standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving product performance based on actuarial analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of actuarial experience in insurance-related roles
