Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users, and maintaining IT systems. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service while troubleshooting IT issues.
  • Participate in system upgrade projects and training sessions.
  • Assist users with software application support.
  • Ensure data security practices are followed in daily operations.
  • Prepare reports on IT support activities and service trends.
  • Maintain clear communication with end-users during support requests.
  • Work with the team to develop solutions for common IT issues.
  • Keep up to date with new technologies and IT trends.
  • Support IT training sessions for new team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support roles
