Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and report financial data to assist in decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Implement financial policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Continuously analyze financial trends and advise management accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives related to finance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree will be an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience

• CIMA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate
