Sustainability Consultant

Job Description

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will be instrumental in creating sustainable practices that align with corporate strategies. You’ll conduct assessments, develop compliance strategies, and facilitate training sessions for staff to ensure effective implementation of sustainability initiatives. Candidates should have a strong understanding of environmental legislation and sustainability metrics to effectively advise clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to educate clients on sustainable practices.
• Collaborate on sustainability projects with various teams within the organization.
• Implement initiatives that promote energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Assist clients in obtaining sustainability certifications.
• Keep abreast of industry trends affecting sustainability efforts.
• Develop communication materials to support sustainability initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs and suggest improvements.
• Prepare and submit proposals for sustainability consultancy projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in sustainability consulting or environmental management

Certifications

• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
