DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a DevOps Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring seamless software delivery. You’ll collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and monitor processes, ensuring that our software is reliable and efficiently deployed.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts for environment provisioning and deployments.
• Monitor performance metrics to anticipate potential infrastructure issues.
• Guide junior team members in best DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Facilitate regular sprints and retrospectives with the team.
• Research and apply cloud technologies to bring innovation into processes.
• Enhance the security posture of the DevOps processes and environments.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve development goals.
• Analyze system dependencies and architecture to prevent downtime.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Cloud Computing is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in cloud solutions and DevOps roles

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Git

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of network protocols: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP for better operational decisions.
• Experience with various cloud platforms: Hands-on with Azure or Google Cloud in addition to AWS.
