Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker who will assist in providing a high-quality childcare experience. You will engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Foster a nurturing environment that supports children's growth.
• Plan and lead recreational activities that promote creativity.
• Document children's progress and any incidents effectively.
• Engage with parents regarding their child's day-to-day activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a childcare setting

Technical Skills

• Behaviour Management
• Lesson Planning

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Training in Montessori or similar education: Familiarity with alternative education methods.
• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or another language is a plus.
