Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. Responsibilities

  • Administer intravenous (IV) medications and provide wound care according to established protocols.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to formulate patient care plans.
  • Maintain infection control precautions and ensure a clean environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to understand their concerns and respond appropriately.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to team strategies for enhancing patient care.
  • Engage in patient discharge planning and follow-up management.
  • Record and report any changes in patient conditions accurately.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and task delegations.
  • Participate in patient and family education programs.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and positive communication.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse qualification (Diploma or Degree)
  • Nursing Council registration in South Africa is required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in nursing.
