Job Description

We are seeking a driven Investment Banker to become a key player in our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in financial analysis and deal execution. You'll work closely with our clients to create bespoke solutions that meet their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Produce high-quality client deliverables on time.
• Consult with clients on capital structure and strategic investments.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Participate in negotiation discussions for mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
• Master's degree or equivalent is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in the investment banking sector

• Advanced Financial Analysis
• Mergers and Acquisitions

• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
• CA (Chartered Accountant)

Languages

• English: Fluent
