Job Description

Join our vibrant team as an Art Exhibition Curator, where you will be responsible for selecting and promoting artworks while engaging with a wide range of artists. Your creativity and vision will help us create compelling exhibitions that captivate audiences and foster a love for the arts.

Responsibilities

  • Select and curate a dynamic range of artworks for exhibitions.
  • Collaborate closely with artists to realize their vision in exhibition design.
  • Plan and execute the logistics of exhibitions from inception to completion.
  • Develop interactive and engaging public programs related to exhibitions.
  • Consult with stakeholders to ensure successful programming and outreach.
  • Manage exhibition budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial outcomes.
  • Conduct tours and provide talks to educate the public about exhibitions.
  • Foster partnerships with local and national cultural organizations.
  • Continuously assess exhibition practices to enhance visitor experiences.
  • Prepare exhibition catalogues and documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Fine Arts, or related field
  • Master's degree in Art Management is beneficial
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience specifically in exhibition curation.
