Machine Feeders and Offbearers

Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will play a crucial role in our production line, responsible for loading and unloading materials into and from machinery. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Handle and prepare materials for machinery use.
• Track material levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
• Engage in regular safety inspections of machinery.
• Work collaboratively with production staff to meet targets.
• Document operational issues and resolutions as directed.
• Provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in manufacturing or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in machine operation or equivalent role

Technical Skills

• Forklift Certification
• Process Optimization

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment: Ability to adapt quickly to changing production needs.
