IT Support Technician

In this role, you'll provide critical support to our staff, handling a variety of technical issues from desktop support to network troubleshooting. Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and setup of new hardware and software.
• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
• Perform troubleshooting on operating systems and applications.
• Keep a log of issues and escalate unresolved problems to senior support staff.
• Ensure all IT equipment is managed and maintained professionally.
• Support the IT Manager in implementing new technologies.
• Participate in inventory management for IT assets.
• Assist users with password resets and account access issues.
• Train users in basic IT procedures and provide guidance on tech best practices.
• Maintain and update knowledge of the latest IT developments.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.

Technical Skills

• Linux Operating Systems
• VoIP Systems
