Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose health issues in pets and wildlife.
  • Manage treatment plans and ensure animal recovery.
  • Conduct surgeries and follow post-operative care.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ health.
  • Maintain detailed records and handle billing and insurance claims.
  • Promote preventative health care through education and outreach.
  • Collaborate with local animal shelters for community health initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Advanced studies in animal health are beneficial
