Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to be part of our cloud solutions team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud technologies, multi-cloud environments and a knack for learning new tools. The role focuses on enhancing our cloud infrastructure and collaboration across teams to ensure robust product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment and operations workflows.
• Monitor performance and optimize cloud solutions to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Implement security measures to safeguard data and comply with industry regulations.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement changes to improve system performance.
• Develop automation scripts and manage configuration changes for cloud resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years experience in cloud computing and related technologies.
