Job Description

We are searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality management, and will be responsible for developing strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage defect tracking and testing workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function.
• Collaborate on the selection and implementation of testing tools.
• Evaluate and recommend third-party testing services as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest testing practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software QA processes

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing
• API Testing

Certifications

• Quality Management Certification
• Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with DevOps practices: Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices for integrating QA in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Familiarity with Security Testing: Understanding of security testing processes and tools.
