Job Description

The Environmental Scientist role requires a passionate professional who will conduct research and analysis on environmental issues, develop strategies for sustainability, and engage with stakeholders to promote environmental protection. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing environmental impact and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and environmental sampling.
• Develop risk assessment models to predict potential environmental impacts.
• Collaborate in the design of conservation and restoration projects.
• Provide expert advice on ecological and environmental issues.
• Assist in preparing for environmental audits and inspections.
• Keep abreast of new environmental legislation and policies.
• Contribute to writing grant proposals for environmental projects.
• Support the training of junior staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or management

Certifications

• Sustainable Resource Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
