Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Skiagrapher to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The Skiagrapher will be responsible for capturing high-quality skiagraphs (X-rays), ensuring optimal patient care and accurate diagnostics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiographic examinations and capturing high-quality X-ray images.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during imaging procedures.
• Assess images for quality and clarity, identifying any issues or abnormalities.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret and discuss imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documenting procedures appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote and ensure best practices within the imaging department.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.

Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting as a Skiagrapher.

Technical Skills

• X-ray techniques

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
