Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African tax laws and regulations, and experience in developing tax strategies that minimize liabilities for our clients. You will work closely with our financial advisors to provide comprehensive tax services. This role requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Coordinate financial statements with tax requirements.
• Advise on the tax implications of business decisions.
• Facilitate client meetings to discuss tax planning needs.
• Document tax processes and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or a related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in tax consulting

Technical Skills

• Tax Law Knowledge
• Tax Strategy Development

• Client Relationship Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
