Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African tax laws and regulations, and experience in developing tax strategies that minimize liabilities for our clients. You will work closely with our financial advisors to provide comprehensive tax services. This role requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a tax advisor to various clients.
• Evaluate financial and legal documents for compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in the preparation of tax forecasts.
• Educate clients about tax changes and implications.
• Lead training sessions for junior staff on tax issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or a related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in tax consulting

Technical Skills

• Tax Law Knowledge
• Tax Strategy Development

Soft Skills

• Client Relationship Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
